The firm: Having quadrupled in size since
1998 and with ambitious expansion plans this specialist firm now
employs over 200 people and is one of the largest claimant only
firms in the East Midlands.
A pioneering approach to fee-earner
self-sufficiency through highly sophisticated case management
systems and direct e-mail facilities, the firm is now actively
diversifying into other consumer law services including holiday claims.
By
defining and setting new standards of service delivery CS2 has
captured significant market share and with a further prestigious
20,000 sq ft office planned for completion in 2003 the firm is on
target for 400 people by January 2004.
Founded in 1975 as Cutts Shiers Solicitors, the
firm changed its name in 2000 to project a uniquely consumerist
approach to the quality delivery of telephonic legal services to its
nationwide client base. Renowned for excellent client care, superb
quality systems and proactive claims management, CS2 has secured an
impressive portfolio of claimant referrals from all major UK motor
and legal expense insurers. The firm also undertakes significant
volumes of outsourced insured loss and self- insured fleet
recoveries and has seen impressive increases in instructions from a
number of national insurance brokerages during 2001.
One of the first UK
law firms to fully embrace the systemisation of legal process by
intelligent use of IT the firm's quality systems have been ISO
accredited since 1995 and have been substantially overhauled in 2001
to comply fully with the stringent ISO 9001:2000 standards.
As winner of a
National Training Award in 1998 and a recognised Investor in People
the firm has been highly successful in training top-quality personal
injury lawyers through its comprehensive, award winning in-house
programmes.
In
2001, the firm became an accredited Institute of Legal Executives
Training Centre and it is now one of the largest provincial training
providers for the vocational course.
Types of work undertaken: The firm handles road
accident claims and all types of personal injury work. There is a
dedicated complex claims team, which deals with catastrophic injury
and complex multitrack cases.
Consumer contract and holiday claims services will be launched in earnest
during 2002 and are scheduled to account for 20% of work by
2003-04.
